Individual and Review Team Roles in Standards Alignment

Below is an overview of both your individual responsibilities and how your review team works together during standards alignment. (Don't worry if some of these terms — like citations or rejected breakouts — aren't fully clear yet; each one will be explained in detail in Modules 2 and 3.) For now, use this information as a road map so you can see where your individual work fits within the larger team effort. We will come back to many of these responsibilities as we move through the course.

Individual Reviewer

Review and vote on standards alignment citations for assigned programs
Create new or corrected citations when alignment is found for rejected breakouts
Report all factual errors discovered during the review
Provide optional feedback to publishers
Continue evaluating materials and creating citations throughout the review, including during the Quality Review

Review Team

Vote on the same citations for each program
Vote on reviewer-created new citations for each program
Vote on all error and feedback submissions
Verify voting accuracy on an ongoing basis
Respond to publisher-submitted new citations during standards alignment appeals window
